Sydney Caffery

I used a picture of trees during the winter for my etching. We used a plexiglass plate and a scribe(a metal tool with a sharp point) to etch all of the tree branches. Then we covered the plate in ink to fill all the scratches we made. We polished the plate by wiping off all the excess ink. We put the plate on the printing press and put a piece of paper on top so that is where it was printed. We made an edition size of five. I chose one of my favorite to add some watercolor to. I am happy with how all of mine turned out.
